In Nigeria’s correctional centres, thousands of men and women live without access to basic healthcare. Many Incarcerated suffer from untreated illnesses, malnutrition, infections, and poor hygiene. Conditions like hypertension, diabetes, tuberculosis, skin diseases, and mental health challenges go unnoticed and untreated because medical facilities in prisons are overstretched and underfunded.

At CAPIO, we believe every human being deserves dignity, health, and hope regardless of their status. That is why we organize Medical Outreach programs inside correctional centers, bringing volunteer doctors, nurses, and counselors to provide free medical checkups, treatments, and referrals. During these outreaches, we also distribute medicines, food, clothes, and toiletries to meet the urgent needs of the Incarcerated who are often abandoned by society.

But we cannot do this work alone. Your support can make a difference.

  • A donation of medical supplies could save an Incarcerated individual from preventable illness.

  • Food and clothing can restore health and dignity.

  • Toiletries and hygiene items can prevent infections and improve daily living conditions.

  • Financial donations help us bring doctors and buy essential medicines.

You can give in two ways:

  1. Click the Donate Button on our website to contribute directly.

  2. Visit our office at No. 2 Bent Lane, G.R.A Enugu, Nigeria to donate in kind (medical supplies, food, clothes, toiletries).

Every act of giving helps restore hope and dignity to those behind bars. Together, we can show that humanity and compassion do not stop at prison walls.
